Okay, I can’t seem to find anything on anyone running one... Lokka site sells them and I’m totally willing to throw this thing in... anyone know of anyone running one in a 3rd gen? I’ve used one on an old YJ and things work really well.

the only drawbacks are on road 4wd on ice... but with all my truck goes through these days, the Lokka would be really really nice to have.

And they click, right? As an SR5 owner ive thought about it a lot. Think itd interfere with all the electronics somehow?

The clicking or ratcheting sound wont bother me... my truck sounds like an old rusty carriage when I’m driving slow... LOL especially on the rocks

I can’t see it interfering with electronics... CrawlControl maybe? But that works by detecting wheel spin and applying brake pressure... so, no... I don’t think so...

crazy I can’t find ANYONE running one. I’m seriously considering it... I’m going to contact Lokka and get their input and get the damn thing if it truly fits

They require you to submit vin numbers, I’m guessing that’s why. I’ll get in contact with them and find out for sure.

I mean you can throw it in there if it fits, why not right.

Though from what I’ve seen with these trucks there are rarely, if ever, situations where a front locker is needed. Typically when you are hitting those kinds of trails you are gone be beating your truck a bit.

    Just my 0.02

You’re right. And in situations in which the front tire is crawling up a rock and picking up the front of the truck, that’s where I would like the locker... everyone bashes crawl control, but it really does a good job of getting added traction in these situations but it is clumsy as all hell... jerky, and I hate the brake on-off and rocking back and forth... the only time I actually enable it. To be able to stay in low and locked would be ideal...

I’m prepared for the extra rash and breakage... it’s all fun and games till.... hahahaha

Throw some 5.29s in there if you haven’t already while you’re at it.

Hahahaha I was waiting for you to say this!

I’m having a hard time deciding 4.88/5.29... the 5.29 Mega Thread has swayed me for sure.

There’s a few folks that regret getting 4.88. Don’t be one of those :). I’m just sayin!!
