Not true, I have two Tacoma's and one set on 4 and the other on the 5th. The ride is the same in fact they ride better than stock and better than my neighbors who is on 5100s and sagging ome springs.
Both my truck and I son's are set up identical, same wheels, tires, size, lift, rear one inch block, ECGS clam shell bushing and a 1/4 shim. Rides the same!!!

I like soft, and hate how rigid the top notches are. Especially on a trail.

I'm on the 2nd notch, just under an inch of lift. Still have some rear rake which is perfect since I tow a small camper.

I drive a 2nd gen Tacoma , I just got in my 5100’s and I’m wondering what setting do I need to level the truck. I’ll be using the stock coils. I don’t want to have to purchase ome coils or UVA’s . Just looking for a good level stance.

Top perch @ 2" and wouldn't have it any other way. It's the reason I bought the 5100's...

    I had 5100s on my 2nd gen.
    Second notch levels the truck.
I later added a 1" block in the rear to keep the rake.
Changed wheels to FN FX pro and went up 1 size on the tires.
