    I have 7 companies that reported earnings today, and they're all up (most of them massively). I am too busy today to dig in and see why, but the market must have liked whatever they said.

    Pretty sure this is all driven by optimism over reopening the economy. Almost nothing to do with any financials. Very few are reporting anything good and some are choosing not to provide guidance for 2020. But they are still standing, and we are opening things up, so it looks like good news

    So LUV is near its lowest point in all this, while other airlines are up a bit. Anyone know why? I don’t like airlines, but I’m intrigued when one is staying down more than others.

    Yeah lol that sounds like good news if you ask me though. You mean to tell me it took a stay at home order for these guys to take their very first QUARTERLY loss in 9 years? Sounds pretty damn good.
    I still won’t invest in airlines though. That’s just personal preference. If I did it would be LUV or DAL

    Don't try to make sense of short term moves. I mean, TSLA went from under $20 a share to over $900 a share, while never having a profitable year. Try to make sens of that!

    That, and it's being used as a gambling mechanism. The true value of TSLA can't be more than $15 a share. It's like Bitcoin but just happens to have some intrinsic value (at least it's a company).
