We have to qualify with whatever equipment/accessory we want to carry on duty. So lets say I change the rail or put a fore-grip on my patrol rifle, or tac light on my sidearm, I have to go re-qualify with it installed, etc.

Our qualification is a 25 round course of fire from various positions and distances out to 25 yards. To qualify as a regular officer, you have to put 80% of those rounds on target. If you are a range master/firearms instructor, you have to put 90% of them on target.

oooo I just had another idea. I have no antenna on my truck, and don't have the wiring plugged into my radio. I have never used the radio since day one since I use SiriusXM or spotify. I'm going to use this as an opportunity to remove the antenna base and patch the sheet metal

Hmmm, I could also patch the two 3/4" holes in my roof from NMO antennas that I never use. Man, so many good things are happening thanks to this bed liner.

It does, I bought durabak. They offer both indoor and outdoor specific bedliner, with the outdoor having UV protection.

Sounds very flexible. That's nice they are not so strict to make you keep it on if you qualify with it on. Wow, so what's that, 2 mags, or 3? Is there a time limit as well?

When I start practicing with mine I want to become proficient with the double tap method. Just because it's more effective from what I've heard.

Too bad this is an economy build/mod process. You could replace that entire radio with a iPad and install apple car play and just use it for playing music, and maps. :stirthepot:

Oh wait! Does this mean you are going to try to flatten out the dents along the bedsides too before you apply the coating? :fingerscrossed:

No those are a lost cause. It's not worth the time or effort when they'll just get dented again.

Nick. I will have a bed lined, bobbed truck on 35s. She's getting wheeled harder than before so bed side dents are gonna happen.

    Hi OP.

What type of spacers are you using to accomplish your lift?

I bet the coating will look better, and I bet it will help keep it from happening again to some extent. LineX has those ballistic properties. If your at this point I bet unless it is actually creased fixing it is easy.

Serious question. If I am not a fan of hockey, can I still use the pucks for the lift?

For the ballistic properties I think you might be thinking of another Line-X brand. I wanna say it's called Paxcon or something like that. They were coating the floorboards of Humvees and buildings with it. They also did an historic brick wall of the Washington Navy Yard. Regular old Line-x barely stands up to a BFH.
