Hard wired my dashcam. Got tired of the dangling cable. Popped the headliner console off hoping to find a mirror connector but it was not to be. Decided not to tap into the wiring up there and ran the cable down the drivers side pillar and hooked into the fuse panel. This my original plan so I already had the proper gizmo. Got a bit confused because I didn't know there had to be 2 fuses installed in the add a circuit pigtail in order for it to work. once over that hump it was smooth sailing.

Thanks! Required a bit of heat and mild stretching to get over the outer end.

Yeah, it can be a pain, but lets say your left strut fails. Most suspension companies require you to ship them back the failed part to send you a new one. You will have to take out the strut and will need to put something in there till the replacement shows up.

That's exactly why I'm taking my Taco to a quality shop to do the front coil overs. The rears were fairly easy to do.

Yeah you can drive it for a little bit with one side on a factory strut. I mean it does depend on how big of a lift you have, but its not changing the rotation of the tires, so no driveline parts would be damaged. If you did it for a long time you will wear out your tires. The only thing I can think of that may cause issue riding one side stock the other side lifted is if you put bigger tires on they may not clear with the factory suspension in.

For the rear it wont matter too much as the leaf does the lifting, the strut is just there to control it.

Thanks. Tires work with factory suspension. 2.5" or so lift maybe 3", not much. But it looks bad ass!

You know it’s funny you say this, I brought my truck in for it’s 25k and all they do it rotate the tires. My right rear has a super slow leak, and it would stop at 19 psi wouldn’t drop past that, anyway I go and pick the truck up and the light comes on, tires in the same position. Now I know why they didn’t rotate them, they didn’t want to put that tire on the front, that’s fine I needed to take it in for a patch because I sure wasn’t going to let them do it there. What pissed me off though is the only thing they do is rotate the tires, too off fluids, and do a multipoint inspection, but you don’t tell me that you didn’t rotate them. Or the fact you found a leak! I took it back they of course couldn’t “fix” it, they weren’t going to charge me for their 50 dollar patch but they did try to sell me a new tire. I ended up taking it up the street to a local shop and the patched it for 19 bucks. Just couldn’t believe they didn’t tell me they didn’t rotate the tires. Took my wife’s van to the same dealer yesterday for its service and the asshats didn’t reset the maintenance reminder on it. Really want to be done with them but the next closest Toyota dealer is 40 plus miles away.

Swapped the headlights out to BHLMs. Now they match my black housing Lexus LED fog lights. Only chrome left to take care of are the faux headlock rings on my wheels.

I am sure in the picture that he opened the tent up for display so he can take a picture.. If you plan to get in the tent, you will have the posts (that come with the tent) that can be placed on ground before you get in.
