Durabak. It’s who I used when I bed lined my floor in lieu of carpet. It’s a more expensive product at $150 a gallon but it is High quality stuff.

I would outline the hole with a series of tack welds. That would thicken it up a bit. Then I could tack onto the tacks with ease until the hole was shut. Each one took about 4 min and there’s 9 per corner.

Yep, turn the welder way down and just tack away and then grind smooth. Then I’ll go over it with body filler and sand it so it’s perfectly smooth, like I did in the rear.

It had a spacer lift on it :crapstorm: 3inch body lift and 2 inch spacer lift. I bought it when I was young and dump and didn’t do my research. The cab is off from it rolling. I was good. Spent like 4 hrs in hospital getting stitches and waddled my ass out the place.

It seems like the body lift was the weakest link.

Is this why the some members on TW don't like body lift? The potential for thing to go wrong.

I've had good results with Raptor Liner and getting it even smoother than the finish pictured. You may want a little texture to hide body imperfections, but if you want it smoother, there's a lot of info out there on how to do it. I used a cheap Harbor Freight gun (the $10 one), drilled the nozzle out to 7/16" and played with the air pressure on some cardboard until I got the finish I was after. My bumpers and sliders are coated in the stuff and finished with a smooth, durable and easy to clean coating. Dead bug guts just vaporize off of my front bumper with a pressure washer and the sliders are easily re-coated when they get scraped up. Good luck!

EDIT: Oops didn't see you're using Durabak. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!

Threw on a coat of sealant. My 2008 clearcoat is def in the early stages of failing. Truck will be parked outside for the entire summer here in AZ so by Christmas, my hood/roof will probably be patchy and white.

Seeing your antenna poke through your fender gave me an idea. I never ever use my radio and don't even have an antenna on the truck. I'm going to remove the base and patch the sheet metal.

Just rock the license plate relocation bracket from Acekraut + BumperPlugs combo, it will even work with your skid. It's an option anyway.

Test fitting the LED bar, had to accommodate for 1” body lift. Really wish I can run no front plate.

I have a 20" behind my PRO grille, but you could run one wider! **edit** never mind, I just realized that you had the CAI behind the grille :)

eBay. There’s a ton of Toyota dealers that sell old parts on ebay if you want OEM. Or if you don’t care for OEM you can get a pretty cheap version on eBay too

Painted the brackets I made to hold my traction boards. Also painted a pair of bed corner gussets I bought off of another member. The original paint had failed in a bunch of spots and rusted so I hit them with some Rustoleum rust converter. I don't remember buying or using it before although apparently I have since the can was half empty. I'm going to topcoat it tomorrow after work. Guess time will tell how well it works. Also took some acetone and removed the 8 from the center caps of my Level8 wheels.
