i think the price is pretty fair. 4WD 2007 FJC w/ 18.5K miles and long travel, custom bumpers, close to $2000 in SAW shocks, lots of aux lights, painted fiberglass...

I bet they don't get that price for the FJ. It's nice but not 30k nice. I would be lucky to get 30k for my truck.

word. $30K is fair for the amount of work and parts but the trick is finding somebody who's gonna pay that much

Very true. There was a foriegn buyer who responded to my for sale ad I had earlier this year and they were set to buy it for my 25k price. That was without this last slew of upgrades.

I decided not to sell it at that time and the buyer went to DMZ and had Tim build them a truck and ship it overseas. Its a crazy truck market sometimes.

I found a shop to do my cab chops, I was going to have them do some spindle gussets too, would it be a bad idea to pick up a set of total chaos alignment tab gussets? Bad idea?

    what can it hurt?

better to be a little poor with a working truck than rich with a broken truck

I have the TC spindle gusset and they seem fine. Haven't had an issue.

Its not going to hurt anything if you add those alignment tab gussets. My buddy has them and they are beefy. Just note to put those on you have to grind or air chisel the oem ones off then weld the new ones on. The come in pieces and you weld them together then weld them to the frame. If you even wheel hard (Crawling or fast desert) and hit something you will be happy that you had them so you don't stuff you wheel back like I did.
