Finally have time to get my sliders installed since I am working from home.
I have disassembled DIY Weldon sliders (basically I can set the angle).

I was thinking 10 degrees. I don't want it to stick out too much, but I also need it as a step to get stuff off the roof using the kick out and my fiancee likes to use it as a step into the truck.

    It doesn't have fill plates.

What angle do you have and do you like it?

20 seems to be a popular#. Works fine as a step up. Suggest some type of “tred tape” for added traction as a step.
