Thats not bad. I recently bought an sr5 v6 that had a msrp for about a $1k more. Best price i got from a very large volume dealer was $34.7k before tax's and fees were added on. It was nearly $2k lower than they wanted here locally.

I guess this would be a reason, but why can’t I just push a button instead of turning a key. It would be nice to not have to pull the key out of my pocket.

So right now you're at 35,450.14 OTD?

    Is that right?

What state are you shopping in? North east?

Looking to buy a 2020 4x4 TRD Sport before the end of the month. I have dealer down to 14.07% off with the $1750 rebate.

What are the chances that rebate goes up again for May? I am not sure whether to wait another month or take advantage of this deal now. The US 're-opening' is going to be slow and not sure if May deals will get even better or not.

That's where I just bought my truck from. It's still at the dealer waiting for the shipper to pick it up.

I went ahead and bought one now because I feel I got a good deal. If you think you have a great/good deal then you might as well go ahead and go for it rather than wait. If you don't have the money then def. wait lol don't let impatience get the best of you.

15 years of Tacomas, most I've ever seen is $2000 as far as rebates and that's usually year end clearance time. Reason they keep high resale. At almost 15% off MSRP I would go for it.

I extremely doubt it. Prior to the rebate you're already at invoice / 12% and most wont even touch or negotiate on dealer holdback which is $800 or so. The rebate they'll get back from TFS which is good for you and them, putting you at almost 16% off MSRP, I've seen most dealers try to factor the rebate in getting people to that invoice price or 10-13%. Factories are closed and supply is dwindling you already have dealers in CA w/only a few ORs left on lots, if you don't bite someone else will, no reason for them to lose anything outside invoice, let alone the additional $2-3k you're trying to get to after TTL.

Maybe you can talk them out of any port installed options, most will split the difference with you, so maybe get another couple hundred off. I'd take that deal, it is already one of the most aggressive offers I've seen.

It's been a while since I posted here. I had a deal in place with my dealership pre-quarantine where they located a Tacoma for me and I was getting ready to buy it. Unfortunately, the state closed all dealerships before they could get it in and so they refunded me my deposit.

They still ended up buying the truck from the other dealership, and just today reached out to let me know that they are able to do contactless delivery and that I can buy the truck again. They confirmed the VIN was the same as what I originally agreed to. I haven't kept up with pricing/rebates over the quarantine, so I was hoping I could post the agreed upon terms of my deal here to verify that it's still in line with what others are seeing.

    2020 Tacoma SR5 4x4 Double Cab V6 - MSRP after delivery, processing, handling -- $36,558

Negotiated sale price after rebates -- $31,593
This was when the rebate was $1,500. I see now that it's increased to $1,750. Will try and get the extra $250 included.

    Tax -- $2056
    tags + processing fee -- $906

    OTD price -- $34,556

Trade in credit -- $3k (which is an easy $1k over what it's worth)

Is this still a decent deal? FWIW, I love the truck and they basically let me custom order exactly what I wanted.

Thats a solid deal close to 15% if you can get that extra $250, I wouldnt hesitate.

Got a max option (premium, LED's, tech pack, etc) 2020 Tacoma TRD off road 4x4 for $350 a month no money down (2 year lease, 12k miles per year). All inclusive, tax, title and fees included in that $350.

I did have to pay $500 to a broker but it was well worth it for the deal. This is a 45k MSRP truck.

This was a good deal right? Wondering how it stacks up to what you guys are getting.

Sure I guess, most of us don't lease, guess it depends on what your contract looks like as far as buy out, etc, but if you dont plan on keeping it $350 a month is cheap to be rolling around in a new loaded taco.

Yeah, I like to keep vehicles about 2 years so it works for me. My 2018 Chevy volt is NOT cutting it for going to national forest service ranges in the Western NC mountains.
