I have the master warning indicator light, and beeper periodically going off when i hit a good bump, or pothole in the road. Display shows its the passenger door not fully latched, but it is. Only way to correct this is stop the truck get out and slam the door a couple times then its good for a week or two. Anyone know if its an easy adjustment, or does it need to return to the dealer?

    idk but...

is the door open/close sensor near the door hinge or of where I think the switch is located on the door pillar strike? Does your interior lights come on when it does it?

It's brand new, let tge dealer not only fix it, but document it, should it need more work or you have related issues down the road.

Yah man.... slamming the door repeatedly is definitely the best way to fix it.

I think i figured it out after examining how this system works. There's a switch i believe that sits under a rubber boot on the pillar. I'll spray some de-oxcide contact cleaner in there. Its a professional electronic contact cleaner thats not harmful to anything plastic to see if it helps. Gotta believe that switch is erratic.
