He has to be outrageous in his videos for sure. Hurts to see him destroy trucks though.

I think most the trucks he wrecks are already clapped
People just see the ebay head lights and rims and think its “so clean”
And the ford is still new and in production with hundreds of truck built exactly like it And people building trucks exactly like it so no real loss IMO

I think id be more bothered if he started wrecking classics

I also hate the whole show truck scene. Just put a shitty janky lift in thats not even correct but everyone loves it just as much as the properly built ones cause its got shiny wheels

Sorry but yet another question is the 1/4 inch spacer for lean necessary to do right away or would it be best to wait let settle then see?
    Thanks for all the help

It's personal preference. You can run with the driver's side an inch lower than the passenger side forever if you want. 1/4" spacer may not be enough, esp. if you remove the sway bar.

It’ll bug me to much if there is a big lean and the sway bar will be staying in.

Then 1/4" will take out the lean most of the time. My LH coilover spring perch is cranked 1/4" more than RH, and mine is level L-R. This is with half a tank of fuel and no sway bar.

ok so im pretty much guaranteed to have a lean though. so theres no sense in waiting and ordering the spacer after as id rather do it at once?

Yes the truck is heavier on the LH side by design. Run the 1/4" spacer or order the 3rd gen 5100 shocks and run the second circlip position on the LH shock.

BTW I have a 1/4" new in box Toytec aluminum spacer available if anyone needs it.

If you have adjustable coils you can save some money and just crank one a bit more to get rid of the lean. If you don’t want to do that you can get the spacer. @3JOH22A has one for sale.

better to do it all at once as you will save on the alignment and overall general hassle. I’m not sure if the spacer gets installed in such as way where the coil has to Removed or if it just sandwhich between the top hat.

It's this exact part, gets sandwiched between the top hat and the coil bucket:

Yep, my truck was originally a trd off road, got a new bed from a non trd off road. Now I’m back to normal.

My rear locker doesn’t work however. Have to replace the actuator.

okay carry on, was about to call you out on being imposter! LOL

#TuRDGENBESTGEN actuators are in the axle, should never fail. Probably one thing that shouldn't break from the list of everything that's soon to fail

Mine rusted out from non use and the shaft is now stuck in the axle housing with rust and gunk. Will get around to fixing it one day but it’s not really a priority. It’s on the growing list lol

Nah, it turns out I ripped the position switch mechanism... Locker was always working, just 4WD ECU didn't know about it. Now it's a switch in the dash that hooked to 4WD computer that manually triggered and it all works.

Hey Ginger Taco, I’d highly recommend @pete37 at Creditstone Auto Parts. I have been dealing with him for the past week with a ton of questions for a package I’m putting together. He’s been great answering questions and amazing to deal with.

    Good luck

    Mike
