Unfortunately I've found this to be true when bringing my Tacoma in for Toyota Care. In March the dealership that I purchased my Tacoma from did the creaky clutch TSB. Just recently my clutch started acting up and I brought it in to a dealership much closer to home. They charged me $135 to adjust the clutch pedal because the dealership that did the TSB on the clutch did not tighten the nut on the rod going to the master cylinder. They would not honor it under warranty because the other dealership had already performed the TSB on the clutch pedal. Will contact Toyota Motor Corp and file a complaint.

I have emailed them and they are not even doing online buying or delivery. Other dealerships are open or have stayed open.
This one locked down everything. 343 Covid cases as of today in that county.
Service department will be doing limited services soon. No word on retail.
If I didn't throw down (refundable) $500 to get the color I wanted over there to buy, I would just go somewhere else. But, the price was really good with no hassle. So I'll wait. I'm not out anything, as I didn't even sign for it, other than the refundable deposit.

This dealership is over by Oshkosh.

Can the truck be transferred to another dealer to be processed?

You would think somewhere along the way this sort of crap would cut into their sales. It's happened to me far too many times to count with multiple Toyota Dealerships. Its probably not like Toyota has cornered the market on this sort of thing but they've been the bane of my existence here over the past 3 or 4 years. I had a Lexus many many years ago and the didn't do this sort of thing.

I really like my Tacoma and don't regret purchasing it (used) one bit - post many, many mods. I do kinda wish though that some more folks would put out a M/T in a truck. Not sure I'm ready for the Gladiator, but a Diesel M/T Colorado ZR2 would be kinda fun

P.S. It also seems like some manufacturer could focus on customer service and start grabbing some market share. Don't kill me on this, but Chick-Fil-A seems to understand what I'm talking about. Anything about politics aside; from my myopic, privileged, selfish standpoint: their employees have always treated me well. And that's in every store that I've ever been in and it makes me want to come back again. Damn... now I'm hungry

We'll see how Corporate views this. Toyota Motor Corp. has always stood tall for me when it comes to issues like this. I guess I'll find out if they continue to do so.
I'm hopefully optomistic that Toyota will do the right thing.

I've had some luck with Corporate BMW and Yamaha recently. You would just hope someone would find a way to push this concept down to the front line folks. I really shouldn't have to go to the trouble of pulling rank and contacting Corporate unless its a really one-off sort of issue - which both my BMW and Yamaha issues were.

Best of luck, I know we will all be pulling for ya :hattip:

Squeaky wheel gets the grease or so I hope. Like I said we shall see.
Toyota Motor Corp. has always done the right thing in the past, hopefully this time will be no different.
    :fingerscrossed:
Toyotas willingness to do the right thing in the past is what makes me continue to buy them.

given the climate of covid 19, I am sure they will work with you and rule on your behalf. Fucking dealerships. Not all are bad, but a majority from my exp suck.

If you don't get married at all, you can buy even more mods and toys.

It has looked great ever since I had it put on. I hand wash it every now and then but mostly bring it through a touchless car wash and use a leaf blower to blow the water off then wipe it down. It has held up really well. The hydrophobic properties had diminished a bit but has come back since the one year refresh. Overall I love it but it isn’t cheap.

After 45 years I can honestly say that marrying the Mrs. was one of the smartest things I've ever done in my life!
I wouldn't trade her for nuthin!! I truly hope you do as well.
