Has anyone in the group painted the stock fender flares that come on the O.R. edition? I am looking to make them look abit more rugged. Thanks in advance!

I was just about to do that. Painted my wheels black and the flares are slightly worn out so they’re next! I would say go for it!

The flares on Sport models come color matched. Shouldn’t be too hard to google what they look like.

Such a salty group. So I have taking my taco offroading and i would enjoy reducing brush rub on my fender flares. I also would like reduce how often i have to treat them so that they dont have that pasty white sun fade look. I have painted my chrome caps in the rear with something like the rustoleum paint and they looked great and did the job during my offroad adventure with not looking like crap after i was done. They are unfortunately peeling now because well not much bonds to chrome, but i have attempted to paint the soft plastic flares and was looking to see if anyone has done a nice flatblack with that more durable look and feel.

@Element1835 I'm not sure these look more rugged but they were inferno flares I painted with black bed liner.

Bed liner is the way to go. Raptor Liner is the most scratch resistant, but there are other systems that work also.

@Yann what brand liner did you use? They look great. How difficult was removal/re-install of the flares?

Does anyone have a part number for the flares? I'm compiling a list of the black plastic stuff in case I need backups lol.
