I know that the majority of trails will open up starting June ish. What trails have people done in the past few weeks? Does anyone know of any that aren't blocked by bad conditions or have restricted access at this time? I'm itching to get out but am struggling to find anything that works quite this early.

    I'm in the Seattle area.

We made it just over half way, it was getting pretty rough. Also one truck was still factory, i think the snow was gonna be too deep for that, he was also dragging skids at the point. Super fun tho.

Which route did you take? Along the river or up into the hills?

I'm not sure , we didn't go along a river. Is that branch of about 8 miles in?

That is from 410 up to the lake. You must have gone the squiggly way up through the hills.

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
What @Sparky. said. The river washed the road out ten or twelve years ago. You were headed up and over Haller Pass.

I've had this trail in the Greenwater area on my radar for quite a while but have been waiting for things to open up. Did you have any trouble messing around on forest roads around there? Were gates shut?

I didn't go up whistler creek road which is what that Stampede Pass route you shared goes on. But i drove by it and it didn't look like there was a gate blocking it. I think you'd be able to partially go down that trail, however for higher elevations i'm pretty sure you'll hit some shitty spring snow right now tbh. The topogrphy map shows its going up to 5400ft, the max i went up was around 4200 and there wasn't really any snow but some areas of slush/spring snow.

Someone might want to correct me on that but i think usually people go thru stampede in the summer. Lmk if you decide to go i'd be game

Got it, that makes sense. I’ll let you know if I decide to try it anyways.

Any recommendations on an easy trail/FR in the Snoqualmie, Stevens, or Mountain Loop corridor? I'm looking to take an afternoon off next week, drive out nowhere, and do a bit of dispersed camping. Maybe a bit of shooting if allowed.
I don't really have any recovery gear, so I'd like to avoid anything risky.
