    Not too late to fully tame it.

    I've taken in a couple older feral cats and was able to kinda tame them.
    They never became lap cats, but were friendly enough.

    We had barn cats on the farm, and I think they pretty much qualify as feral.
    Many were quite friendly.

    Speaking of cats, about 16-17 years ago our family got 2 bengal kittens. One recently passed away, which is sad because I really like that one. The other is a non-stop meowing machine that is still go strong like it was only 5. Ugh. Still cute though
