that was the original reason I decided to start dipping my truck. Clear coat was failing on the hood and roof :( Now the paint has many layers of protection LOL. I pulled the dip off my fender flares and after 5 years, I saw no degredation to the paint underneath. Just as long as you use a basic color for your base coat, I do not think you will have any issues with the factory paint.

I'll edit this post and add pics

These are factory color matched black sand pearl fender flares

I then re-dipped them with 8 cans of black plastidip lol

Pott's is a fun one for sure. I took a horrible line at that spot but it made for a cool picture at least... I wish I got to run it one last time before moving. Me and the buddy I ran it with actually followed one of your trip reports before heading up there for the first time.

I haven't gotten into much wheeling out here yet - I've run a few trails in Stanislaus NF but nothing too hard. Moving and a new job kept me pretty busy last year.

I had a list of trails I wanted to get done this year but I'm not sure if that'll happen with the current state of everything. Either way, I know I'm going to enjoy not having to drive the 5+ hours I'm used to driving from VA Beach to any trailhead. Plus, I'm excited for the added variety from Uwharrie, Flagpole, and Pott's since those were my main (and really, only) three.

From our area, it’s about 3 hours to get to most trails. Not terrible but still a bit of a drive. Once this shit dies down we need to do a east bay meet up

Correct. I looked under it while someone else put it in D. Front shaft doesn’t spin.

It has a little larger bore. Since upgrading to the rear disk and bigger front calipers you need more volume. I believe it's 1/8 inch bigger.

Well another option in that case is the T100. What I swapped too, but swapped back. It was too soft.

T100 bolted right up the booster with no problems?

It also adds a bigger fluid reservoir.

Obviously I’m going to source those part myself. It’s way cheaper from Napa for the parking brake stuff.

It bolts up to the dual diaphram booster with the 4 bolt pattern with no issues. Which means only 95-00 tacomas. If you want it in an 01-04 like I did you have to swap the booster. Did a big write up on this: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...kensteins-helper.390488/page-12#post-14150175

Ultimately I reversed it back to the 13/16th stock one as it has higher pressure.

    True. Still. That's nuts.

I think I'll try the cobra one. See how it goes.

Lol I didn't know anyone read's my rambling, I just saw a FB memory that said i ran that trail around this time 2 years ago.

And variety is the biggest key that the west coast has that the east coast does not. For variety we drive 5-10 hours unfortunately. Wife and I are looking to move to northern north carolina or southern VA in the next couple years before going west. In the meantime I'll explore everything I can in VT/NH/ME and Canadia before that happens since that drive will be even worse after the move.

I see your down for the kit on the site. Let us know how well it works.

Sos sells an adapter for a sequoia master if anyone wanted to not have to change the booster too.

I was able to get mine for half that price. I bought used, never installed. I got lucky.

Custom RoyEl Canopy and Homemade Bed Drawer for camping sh!t. Improved Cab roof racks. OME Suspension
Yesterday I made a platform to improve the extra cab space. Stole the idea from @seen20 and added my own twist. Best part was it was all from scraps!! Free.99!! Like most extra cab people I'm sure, I just throw hella shit back there, and with milk crates it becomes somewhat organized when camping etc, but the carpet gets dirty, bags and stuff are too big and hang off, and the dog would rather be as close to us as possible than in the shell. So a few pieces of plywood, some 2bys, screws and rubber stall mat on top to match my theme....black. IMG_20200428_184829.jpg IMG_20200428_184842.jpg

Always envied the seat deletes for 2nd gen, and told myself it wouldnt make a difference here because I don't have a backwards door, but man somehow it makes it feel like a better storage space back there! Love the 1 hour free modsIMG_20200428_184945.jpg
