Heading home for lunch today I heard a loud clunk like I hit something..... didn't see anything in the road or behind me when I checked the rear view. Heading back to the office notice my tire pressure warning was on.... sure enough, looks like the passenger front tire was pretty low. Pretty sure it'll be flat by the time I get out there... :( 1,400 miles...

Good thing you have a spare tire, jack & lug wrench.

No need to worry any longer... It seems like you know exactly what the issue is... the tire.

A little of this and a little of that.
Ouch. Inspect the tire and wheel. My daughter hit a pot hole and damaged the construction of the tire enough that it had a goose egg on the sidewall within a few hours. It never did loose air pressure though.

I think your truck is going to be OK. Tire not so much.

Jeezus...I hope you're just bored & trolling. If not, then I hope for your sake, you're teenager that just got a learners' permit, because that would be the only acceptable excuse for posting this tripe :facepalm:

Ditch the tire, problem solved. No sense carrying that source of stress around right?

You are lucky its just a tire, could have been much worse, according to some stories on TW. Replace it and enjoy your truck man, nothing to worry about here.

I pierced my tire with a wrench one time while driving. It actually went inside of my tire, i couldnt believe it. The sound was very loud. It was good excuse to get new tires as my tires had like 30k miles.:)

Even though my new toyota comes with a full size spare, dealer told me not to even think of changing it....says changing it from a flat will screw up the tire monitoring system so i don't know whats up with that.
