I highly recommend a some tire plugs, tools, and a small compressor to air up. I have them in all of my vehicles and they've saved my butt several times. It is a lot easer, safer, and faster to plug a hole with the tire on the vehicle than change to the spare. Even if it is just enough to get you to a tire store.

In 2011 I was driving ~75 MPH on an interstate when my TPMS warning light came on. I stopped ASAP to find my right rear flat. I put 3-4 plugs in a rather large hole and made it to the next exit after airing up the tire. We were travelling, it was almost dark on a Sunday and raining so we got a room at the exit. On Monday I drove to the closest tire store who told me the tire couldn't be saved. But I let them put my spare on and I drove the 600 miles home that day. Bought 4 new tires next payday. I was close to needing them anyway.

I blew one out on a trailer doing 60 hauling a tractor. My wife ask what you gonna do? I said I’m unloading the tractor and changing it. Did. Came home.

Sometimes you just got to do what a mans got to do. I don’t get why it’s so hard to change a spare and I’m too cheap to pay someone to do something I can do :D

Put the spare on and take to your Toyota dealer for an inspection since you heard a loud clunk just as a safety precaution. You can do a preliminary inspection while changing the tire but if you're not sure what you're looking at or for have the dealer take a look. Since its a new truck and you're a new customer hopefully they will do it as a courtesy.
    Best of luck.

I was taught how to do it before I even knew how to drive. That's how it should be. Best time I had a flat was last year pulling into my garage. I get out, hear a hissing sound, walk over to the RF tire slowly deflating. I walk inside, grab a beer, go back out and change it, then take it to the tire place the next day to get a plug. Pissed me off though because it was only a one beer job.
