    You shouldn't.

The engine flexes. A Ridgid tube/pipe would stress the rad neck and the water pump housing.

    It's gotta be something flexible.

If you put a piece of pipe, use rubber hose on each end to connect it that way it can flex. Definitely don't want it ridged.

Yeah there would have to be some rubber involved. Maybe just enough rigid pipe to make that funky bend.

Do those tool boxes come all the way out to the edge? My dad built his table and put some metal drawer cabinets under it and they came all the way to the edge. You can't clamp anything to the table on the whole front. Drove me nuts but it's his and how he wanted to make it.

Here’s our welding table at work. Made it several years ago with a 4’x8’ piece of 1/2” steel. Welded 3” channel under it for stiffness and the legs have adjusters cause our floor isn’t perfect. Also made it 39” tall so I don’t have to bend over to work.

That was within the first few days during building.

I added another piece to both long sides to allow clamping along with a motor for the wire wheel and a vise and another few feet on 2 of the legs for lights.

Air and 120VAC on both the the narrow ends

Then when needed I welded assorted metal to the table as needed to provide clamping and fixtures

A constant work in progress .

Though like any flat surface stuff gets piled on despite my best efforts

Yes, a table becomes a shelf and we all know shelves just collect things. My table at home has stuff on it been there for years. Need to clean and throw some stuff away.

The table height needs to the height for who ever uses it the most.

My table has adjustments for height that I thought I might need I also added Good Casters in the event I needed to move it.

Exactly on the height. Our old shelf table is 32”. Too short for me, and small. Took me several years to convince the boss to let me build a new one. It’s had quite a few wire burn offs too.

Finished getting the frame for my new welding cart put together last night. Just need to finish up a few last welds on the front. Next I gotta start getting the tank holders together, It’s going to hold 2 155cu ft bottles. Hoping to have it all done by the end of the weekend.

I’m really happy with how it’s turning out.

Oh my fucking god you guys. I just NOW realized that a regulator has numbers for both LPM and CFH. I've been using the wrong dial. I've been pumping out 45 CFH thinking I was at 20. God dammit.

Yeah no kidding. I feel so stupid but majority of people refer to CFH so I blindly assumed it was going to the primary outer number on the ring, like MPH and KPH on our speedometers. Nope. I've always wondered why my gas is so loud when I pull the trigger.......

Just think it could have been 25 years later instead of a few months

I could not even tell you what my real numbers are back the flow down to the porosity starts increase slightly call it good.

With ear plugs I can`t even hear the gas flow

My safe magnet from work fits perfectly up there. I think it’ll help as I’m in the habit of using them at work, as well as a dirty/clean magnet on my dishwasher. I just need the visual representation.
