I've been thinking about something myself. With the Army Green being a limited color anyways.
I wonder if it will be an even more limited production due to this shutdown.

That'd be great! I need to go get my aftermarket parts/belongings from my truck tomorrow at a body shop in Redmond so I'll be on the east side anyway if tomorrow works. Will message to work out a time to see it - happy to walk around from a distance, just pictures make it seem like they could be one of about 5 different shades of green.

I'm looking for a manual transmission so as when I bought my 18, my search will probably be countrywide anyway. If I like the green, this way I can jump on one from the other side of the country.

I wondered that as well and is why I was hoping to avoid ordering one. I knew with my luck that if I ordered it, the plant would shut down or they would switch back to the off cycle of that color for 2 months (2 months on, 2 off apparently) or dealers would shut down. So I looked up every truck in 300 miles and only two were available, one sold the next day and the one I bought was marked up $5k but I had that down to msrp by the second email. Maybe one or two snuck in after that but the dealers shut down not too long after that. Well either see a flood of backorders or well have a limited color this year. I just hope it’s not used in certain models next year!

I hate the bad news about your 2018.
The 1st time I ever saw AG it in person was the pic below when my truck was delivered.
To me it appeared darker in person than from the pictures I had seen. Seems to change colors depending on the lighting conditions.

I found mine back in mid-Feb and had to travel several states away to get it. I used cars.com as a research tool to find dealerships that had them in stock. I’ve been checking it every once in awhile just to see the availability fluctuations. I know the cars.com inventory isn’t 100% accurate as some dealers don’t use it and some show stock that really aren’t available, but I do find it is a good indicator of inventory levels across the US.

When I got mine in Feb, it was just before the the dealers started getting new shipments and the inventory was as low as 26 nation wide. I’ve seen it as high as 140 before the CoVID related shutdowns. Now the cars.com inventory is showing 37. My guess is that they won’t be in a hurry to make a ton more TRD Pros this year once the factory resumes production due to the uncertain economy.

An interesting factor may be that the Texas plant will be opening sooner than the Mexico plant. The only 2020 Tacoma’s the Texas plant has been making are the TRD Pros. I’m sure they can change back over to make non-pros fairy easily if that’s what they want to do.

The San Antonio plant was also making all manual transmission Tacos before the shut down, as well. Not sure if that has been moved yet, or not.

They already announced the army green color on the 2021 trail edition Tacomas.

But that doesn't affect the fact that it was a relatively small number of 2020 Pros in the color. Given the popularity, it should have some positive impact on potential resale.....not that I have any plans to sell mine for a long time.

I’ve only seen 1 tundra in the army green. Haven’t seen another Tacoma yet. Definitely not reselling!

I've seen two AG Pros besides mine on the local dealer's lot (mine came from an out of area dealer). I've also seen one Tundra and one 4Runner here in AG.

I’ve seen AG on the taco, tundra and sequoia in person at the dealership and I think the taco looks the best imo, the bigger trucks look good but it’s too much green in my mind.

Out in the wild I’ve only seen the tundra, have yet to see anything else :)

I was just thinking this this morning. It can be 5 different shades of green, it just depends on if the sun is out or not. In certain types of shade she almost looks black!o_O
Words can't describe how much I love this truck!:headbang:

Don't get a chub to quickly guys. Just put BFG KM3 255 85 R16s on my AG. No rubs so far on some decent inclines but we'll see when I take her off-road this weekend.

I haven’t seen one in the wild yet, but a few weeks ago, my local dealer had an AG Tacoma, Tundra, 4Runner, and 2 Sequoias. The Sequoias have been there for several months.
