OME nitrochargers, Dakars+AAL, JBA UCA 285/75/16 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on TRD baja "beadlocks" Flippac
then i'd go with the bilstein 5100 or OME nitrocharger with OME 881 coil

Never heard of them before, but his tuck definitely it similar to mine back in the day. Believe it or not there was one I saw at Pala one day that was literally identical to mine. Pretty rare, especially for the color!

What about bilstein 6112? Found this on rockauto. Are they better than the 5100? Or
    Just for different driving conditions?

Bigger shafts, more fluid, more dampening, and cost more, too.

So 5100 are more ideal for first gen?

5100s are fine. Those 6112s are fine, too. Depends on your budget. I’ve got 5100s and OME 881 springs with a plate bumper, winch, and the 2.7l. Rides good, sits good, and I’ve been happy on and off road.

What are your intentions? Biggest use?

Daily driver to work mostly, go alittle off roading once in a while but nothing serious.

Do you not have the truck in your sig any longer? I thought maybe I saw it for sale... I window shop CL and Offerup a lot and being in Phx, I search SD/IE too.

I’m looking to buy the 5100 with ome 2881, I want to have the leveled look with my 4600 in the rear. What setting should I put them at?
And I’m also having them pre assembled.

Get with Wheelers Offroad for that info. I'm not 100%. 882 may be a better choice for the v6 set at the lowest setting. 881, maybe the middle setting.

The website or probably here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/forums/wheelers-off-road.81/

I still have it! She's gone through some cosmetic changes since the sig pic. It was briefly up for sale like 2 years ago, just had no more motivation for it. But after owning it for more than a decade and 110k+ miles, I just cant part with her... so she's getting reworked to be more practical for a DD currently.

Next up is paint, which I have discovered that Subaru "Blue Quartz Pearl" is almost IDENTICAL to Horizon Blue Metallic, just a shade darker of a blue

Did you have any problems with the 20x12 wheel touching the caliper or any of the suspension components?

So seeing above, my daily is not my Taco but i love driving it. Only thing i've noticed is a clunk up front when i hit some serious bump and i've been driving on NYC highways for a good 6 weeks on 32s...thoughts? I dont want to think about it much..otherwise i need to ride my motorcycle there more often.

For reference i have new near bilstein, new helpers, new front shocks and springs and i think my BJ are good.

Previous owner put 245/70/R16 tires on my little 1999 5-lug (2.4L, no lift)) that rub like crazy then going over any sort of bump. Their solution was replacing the tires frequently to deal with the excessive wear from rubbing, something I would like to avoid.

I'd like to go down closer to stock size to avoid having to lift it, does anyone know if 215/65/R16 K02's will fit? They come out to 27" overall diamater while the ones on there right now are 29.5". Stock is 25.5" so just wondering if I should expect any issues going to a 27" tire. I've seen some other posts on here that people were running 235/75/R15 on stock suspension which is a 28.9" tire.

This was a $1500 beater truck so I'd like to just get some new tires and skip sinking money into a lift I really don't need.

I'd go down to a 15" wheel and get a smaller tire. Any reason to run ATs on it and not street tires? I'd personally have gone lowrider with it if it's a 5 lugger.

Look in the driver's side door jamb and it should show what size tires/wheels when it left the factory.

Mine came with 14” 195/65/14. Steel wheels with hub caps. You can find some SST stock wheels that are 15”. If it’s a 5 lug I’d definitely keep it low either stock height or slightly lower
