3 hours here gets you a much wider variety of stuff where 5 hours at home gets you to the same easy shit you can do in a stock vehicle. Anything more than that gets you to some different, more difficult trails, but doing that in a weekend is exhausting. Within 6-7 hours of my old place, there was only a handful of trails to do. And doing them non-stop does get boring and repetitive.

Very down for an East Bay meet up once all this shit clears and normal life resumes. This lack of being able to do anything is getting to me.

I'll probably end up in NC one day. Not anytime soon but I'm sure it'll happen. The ladyfriend grew up there and all our family is in SE VA or NC so it only makes sense. But for now, fun on the West Coast.
I never really got into any exploring in any of the North East. I regret not but hopefully I'll be able to one day. Me and a buddy had a trip planned out to head up to Canada, do the Trans Labrador Highway and head home, stopping throughout the NE but it never happened. We both moved and neither of us are on the East Coast now. Maybe one day.

I put that thing up for parts. I’ll get to boosting my truck when I purchase another car. Right now just building it up to be a good looking reliable daily

Speaking of SCs. What’s your opinions on what comes first SC or dual cases ?? Interested to hear

Depends on what you really want to do more....go fast or crawl. Neither one of those things compliments the other lol.

I disagree, I think they are both applicable in the wheeling world. Crawling with additional HP and torque is a thing

Personally I'd rather have twin sticks first, I'm only boosted cause the PO did it. But it's a rabbit hole of $$. But with the 4lo and slow kind of wheeling I prefer to do with a manual trans, a dual setup would be way more beneficial

I've never been in a situation offroad where the SC helped in any way. Maybe when trying to mob up a sand dune but certainly not while crawling.

Plus they create a lot more heat. No intercooler on the 1st gen Tacoma superchargers like the 2nd gens have.

My thoughts, even though my Tacoma is a 2wd keep in mind..

A supercharger would give you more torque and power whether off road or on the street, and make the truck funner all the time!

Dual cases can come if/when you get too big of tires and find your truck cant make it over obstacles or inclines.. ;)

Today was a good day... I fixed a little bit of some alignment problems on my core support. Painted the trailgear mounting plate and front of the frame. Cleaned up my Kings and greased the uppers.
    Feeling productive

Understandable, for me I want dual transfers, that will make me truck safer and better for what I like. Then down the road I want the boost ! Because America! Fuck ya! Hahah :mudding::mudding::mudding::mudding::mudding:
