What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Your wheels are bigger, your tires are probably technically smaller. Not all 315/75/16 tires are “about 35” tall. Many are shorter or narrower and smaller. Your large wheels are part of the problem. My offset is also -25 which is super aggressive And helps my tires look bigger. Similar to when you shave your.... wait nvm

 

Also - tire shine makes tires look smaller IMO

 

I asked to see it and the dude was less than helpful. Said the mechanics had the picture and they sent it to Toyota. When I get a min I’ll see if I can find it. They usually circle it in white. I know a dime sized hole will get you a replacement.

Well I guess no oil change tomorrow. Have to pick wife’s Mini Clubman at dealer $3200 in repairs, there the 2010 RAV4 Mirror mod. When get home there will be 148 pounds of fun to deal with. But will have Filets, loaded baked potatoes and Beans. I can live with that. Mini Shift lever broke couldn’t get out of Park, leaking water pump, 3 brake light LED burned out have to replace the Whole thing plus a bunch of other stuff, like timing chain tensioner, All older Mini’s have this problem. Fun car drive but expensive to operate. I refuse to repair it might as well disassemble the car to get at stuff. But she bought it and makes the payments.

That’s fine, but that exact same tire size can vary SIGNIFICANTLY between brands and specific tires. If you walk out with a measuring tape, I bet it’s not 35” tall, lots of variables

Cool. I might be in luck. I have a couple of little holes that may meet the dime size and definitely some perforation going on. I guess I will find out tomorrow.

 

did same to my truck last week after reading some reports o0n here. scared the sh*t otta me, only to find my filter still looked brand new even though my truck has 117k miles.

 

I just ordered mine too. Glad they now have these in stock.

 

Drove on a dirt road. Now I gotta clean it before the dust destroys it and because OCD.

 

Got my truck back after the dealer applying the new coating inside the frame. Had to reinstall the rear support for my RCI skids. They had to remove it to spray and then the caps they install interfere with it slightly. Had to trim the passenger side cap to fit the brace back in. Also found a leak in my power steering pump. Nice to have an extended warranty! They also fixed my alignment for no charge. Was a good day!
