Finished the emblems.

Came out pretty damn good IMO. Used a black paint pen and free handed it. Then sealed it with clear coat. Let's see how long it lasts

 

2 coats of sealant & 1 coat of insulator wax to slow my roof/hood oxidization/clear coat failure. You can’t see any of the pinstripes all over the truck from this far away. It almost looks babied!

 

What size tires are those?

 

315/75r16 still not big enough though

Your wheels are bigger, your tires are probably technically smaller. Not all 315/75/16 tires are “about 35” tall. Many are shorter or narrower and smaller. Your large wheels are part of the problem. My offset is also -25 which is super aggressive And helps my tires look bigger. Similar to when you shave your.... wait nvm

 

Also - tire shine makes tires look smaller IMO

 

I asked to see it and the dude was less than helpful. Said the mechanics had the picture and they sent it to Toyota. When I get a min I’ll see if I can find it. They usually circle it in white. I know a dime sized hole will get you a replacement.

Well I guess no oil change tomorrow. Have to pick wife’s Mini Clubman at dealer $3200 in repairs, there the 2010 RAV4 Mirror mod. When get home there will be 148 pounds of fun to deal with. But will have Filets, loaded baked potatoes and Beans. I can live with that. Mini Shift lever broke couldn’t get out of Park, leaking water pump, 3 brake light LED burned out have to replace the Whole thing plus a bunch of other stuff, like timing chain tensioner, All older Mini’s have this problem. Fun car drive but expensive to operate. I refuse to repair it might as well disassemble the car to get at stuff. But she bought it and makes the payments.
