Well... I knew it was gonna happen sooner or later... funny thing is, it was the cheapest item I bought that set her off... Meso's Push start button lol

This quarantine started with me installing what I had sitting in my garage for about a year:
Front bumper, UCA, Front camera, and fog lights.

After installing bumper; I needed to install new springs to accommodate weight (had new Eibach springs sitting in my garage).
I decided to get on TacomaWorld after being away from it for like 8 months to see what people were using to lube JBA UCAs... well that's when it started...

To break it down (I am just going to round up to the dollar):
- The first set of purchases
Front Durobumps
Rear Durobumps
Radflo Front AND Rear shocks 2.5 w/ comp adj + resi (custom tuned)
Icon RXT leaf pack_______
Total: $3,507

- The second set (Oh look a deal):
Nitro Gears 5.29_Kit______
Total: $1,250

- The third set (BAMF Drama = Group buy):
Leaf Shackles
Leaf hangers____________
Total: $345

- Final thing (so far):
Meso's new start button
Meso's Chrome start ring eliminator
Total: $40

Grand Total: $5,142

That's not including the re-gear labor which is $1,100... and I also bought new tools so roughly another $200.
She didn't really get pissed off, just annoyed cause I told her earlier that the phone case she bought was stupid and unnecessary since she had a perfectly working/defect-free case already... it was $75, then about 2 hours later I bought Meso's stuff .


Before ya'll say irresponsible financing/spending; I still have income while the stay at home order, I have some small investments (real estate), and stock trade here and there (I don't make a lot in it but supplements my income).

The lesson of the day: Tacoma's are awesome, most women don't understand, and my parents lied: staying at home doesn't save money.

She normally doesn't care since I pay the majority of the bills (split 70/30) and let her do what she wants with her paycheck. She can see my bank account cause I have her tied to it with limited privilege and vice versa. She just got mad cause I tried to justify why I am replacing perfectly good parts when I called her out on buying a phone case made of some rocks from India.
