I’m in the opposite camp on splitting finances. I’m also 20 years older than you are. We have one account. We discuss purchases. She is good about letting me spend some money if I really want to and I’m the same with her. She has $30k in Louis Vuitton bags. I have had almost 20 different vehicles in our 16 years together. Just be honest with each other and it makes shit easy.
As far as the bewbz, tell her to keep them stock. Shes a beautiful young lady with a great body. (Way hotter as a brunette though) She’s only 25? No need for unnecessary bolt-one at this point. The loss of strength, and the way it permanently fucks your pectoral muscles (detached at the bottom and they aren’t reattached) is something that if my wife could go back, she would have skipped doing them.

 

I would need a picture of your future mother in-law to properly gauge future depreciation value of fiancé before I can properly cast my vote.

She’s a year older than I. She’s turning 27 this year. Definitely will let her sit on it. She’s dying her hair back to like a brown color. Just wanted to try blonde.

 

My marriage lasted almost 8 years, I’ll have had the Tacoma for 6 come this October. I’m working hard on making sure it’s my longest relationship.

 

Don’t have a picture of her. She passed away when my fiancée was young. Most of the pics I have seen of her (which is not a lot) are really old ones from film cameras where it’s not even a clear frontal view.

My wife and I were looking for something to watch while stuck at home and stumbled across expedition overland. She asks a few questions about it and I answer since I have been window shopping / living vicariously through YouTube overlanding accounts for years now. She agrees to watch a few episodes, gets super interested in it, and is now on board with modding the truck and seeing the country.

she’s always wanted to travel more and I have always wanted to mod my truck and take it cool places. I worked up a pretty ambitious spending/travel plan for the next year and a half then reviewed it with her. She made some good comments about what seems necessary vs what I want to look cool (lol no swing outs) but she agreed on all of the important stuff like suspension, gears, etc. we are 24 and 23 and want to get out and see the country before kids.

So now my wife is happily watching me dump money into my truck. Never thought I’d see the day
