Just curious if any has gotten the exhaust reroute while up in NE and if so, where did you get it done? What did it look like for cost?

I've only been able to find the western groups discussing it. I haven't found anything for our side of the states. Any info is good :)

Held off until I got the transfer case skid. This way I could take it into the shop and let them see what they needed to clear. Paid too much but I was in and out under an hour. Built a heat shield out of pieces of aluminum I had.

Any exhaust shop will be able to do it, the question is how much. I went to one shop and they quoted $300ish. I politely said no thank you and went to another shop, who did it for $120. I just found pics of what I wanted and printed it out and took it with me.

Here is a thread with a lot of good pics. Find 3rd gen specific ones because what you need is a little different than us 2nd gens.

Mainly this joint. The "proper" way is to have them move this joint further back so your exhaust can still be removed in pieces. Some people opt to not do this to save money. At least that's what I've gathered from the reading I've done.

Oh that's sounds like a smart way of going about it. I'm planning on getting skids so that's why I'm looking into the reroute for the added clearance. Thanks!

Yeah I was looking into that thread. The pictures is is a good idea since I feel like I'd have difficulty explaining it if they asked (not super mechanically inclined, yet). Thats a good tip about that joint, I musta missed that looking through it.

Looks like I'll just have too look up some exhaust shops near me and show them if they don't understand. Thanks fellas!

I've seen quotes for a third gen in the $200-$300 range. Any more and I would ask around for other quotes. Good luck!
