$58,000? That's a lot, I don't know that I'd be comfortable paying that for a 35-year-old pickup. I could buy a loaded-out Tacoma TRD Pro for that and have money left over.

 

There had better be $40,000 worth of memorabilia for that price. A truck that had nothing to do with the making of that movie, but still demanding movie markup. 100% Crack Pipe.

 

Some idiot will buy it thinking they got a gem that's worth about $15,000.00

 

For that price it better be version 2 of the time machine.

I went and read the comments where the original builder was defending the price. While I really do appreciate the immense time and effort it took to source all of the correct parts, I still stand behind my original ranking of crackpipe. It will be a purchase that invokes a lot of nostalgia, and that is obviously worth it to some people. Not me though. Id rather have the "eh, close enough to kinda look like a McFly" truck for 1/4 of that price.

 

Hmmmm, currently this is only $57000 though it will probably go up in the 3 hours left.



Which one to buy? Decisions, decisions...

The sad part about the truck is that I would say most people around today probably wouldn't even recognize it as a "McFly Truck" since the movie is now so old.

I remember years ago when my sons were 7 and 4 we took them to Universal Studios.

There were lots of "famous" cartoon characters cruising the park such as Flintstones, Popeye, etc. and the ONLY one they recognized was Spider-Man.

 

Does that one come with a stick on mustache, 80's jeans and a killer Hawaiian shirt??

This one is a 355.

The 355 Coupe is still one of the best looking Ferraris ever IMO.
