Right now I plan to simply get it running so the wife doesn't kill me for it sitting in the driveway, but I want to eventually put a larger engine in it and see if I can autocross it at some point. I'll probably use it as a daily so I can keep the mileage low on my truck

Don’t see too many people going with the first gen over the sw20. Good luck with the build!

Yeah, I like the look more of the AW11, and its getting harder to find nowadays, too. It's insane trying to find decent enough parts for it, lol. Thanks!

Swapped out the shift knob today, had the pro knob for my sport and always liked it so I ordered on for the off-road when I traded it. Was just going to have the dealership have it for me when I went to pick up the truck, but they want 179 for it! Got it off a parts site for 89, good to have it back to feeling the same.

In Hawaii your only allowed 4 inches from the top down.. but allot of people got full windshield tint, even like 35%.. they must have the hook ups when it comes to safety inspection time

No. Only glare is from the hood. Some people like them straight ahead, but I feel like that’s not how they were intended to be used so I angled mine outward.

Edit: meaning, mine aren’t towards my hood, so no glare issues. The amber covers also help tremendously without being tough on the eyes during night drives.

walking around my neighborhood i noticed a lug nut on the side of the road that looked exactly like mine.... but that couldnt be since the dealership rotated my tires last week

well.... look at what i found. Went around and torqued the lugs at 85lbs and found a few that were very loose.

Calling cobb county toyota to inform them of the job they did.

ARE canopy with sliding screened windoors and rhino roof track, Warn semi-hidden winch mount with VR 10 winch, nightrider 28" single row LED lightbar, Hood scoop light bar, Anytime front and rear cameras. anytime Navigation switch, plug-in oil pan heater, plug-in block heater, plug-in battery blanket. WINTER: Snow Sport plow with back-drag modification, Bridgestone Blizzak DM V2 on steelies 265-70-17.
I trimmed the airdam so I can use it with my Warn semi-hidden winch mount to save some fuel on the highway. It is just held on with zip ties right now But I want to devise a quick release method for when I get to the trails.
