All your work is really good but these are probably your masterpiece. My compliments to the owner of these headlights for their impeccable taste.

Maybe the slightest bump in output, nothing in appearance of the lights.

I'm not sure what the ballast are, but you can still use all your old LED replacement bulbs in the retrofitted headlight assemblies right?

Ballasts are what give "power" to HID bulbs. If you're LED you don't need them.

Hey guys, been dying to offer gloss black as an option for y’all. I used spraymax 2k gloss clear, which is a 2 part automotive grade clear. I think they came out great and I’m very happy to be adding it to my options. This will be an up charge, I just haven’t put a price to it yet.

Orders are closed at the moment. The wait list is getting a little long for my liking. If we’ve already been talking, you’re all good, no worries!

Hoping to open orders back up soon, just need to get caught up!

p.s. I still have the headlights above available, and will be posting some random lights here and there that will be available.

Any way of ordering and not sending the lights in once you have reopened the ordering process? Just curious.

that makes the choice between satin and gloss black much more difficult!

does this limit bulb options since it’s 45W? Have you had problems with the Morimoto’s? I haven’t had the best luck with Hyluxtek ballasts...

The ballast wattage does not limit bulb options. I use d2h bulbs like I’ve said before, so neither of those ballasts would work without being converted to amp connectors. I’d gladly supply a higher end ballast if people wanted to pay the higher cost, but I try to keep costs as low as possible.

I’ve had a handful of bad morimoto ballasts, not a crazy amount. But, I have heard many many people prefer the hylux, so I figured I’d give it a go. I recently put a set in my wife’s Passat and so far am happy, I prefer the design to the morimotos atleast.

So I got this set of headlights back from someone and the clear coat was peeling bad. (Yea I know...). I’ve been wanting to try refinishing lenses for a while so I gave it a go on these. I sanded the original clear off, sprayed them with spraymax 2k which is a 2 part uv resistant high gloss clear, and then wet sanded and buffed that out. This was quite a bit of work, but they came out very nice. I won’t say perfect, but I am very happy with them. All rock chips were sanded out so they are basically flawless in that matter. I think anyone would be extremely happy with them.

They are just a standard bhlm, tinted side markers, and one repaired upper tab on the passenger side light. I’m not going to charge for the refinish. Asking $350 plus your stock lights.

Do you have a way to get rid of the “TRD” and “PRO” on the 2020 PRO lights?

I don’t, I’m not working on those lights yet as there’s not much room for customization.
