I’ve seen everyone has to trim dakars with the hangers and shackles, but what about all pro leafs? Do they need to be trimmed as well?

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Anything that does not have a Berlin eye will most likely need trimming. I don't recommend anything from ALLPOO sorry never checked it.

Make sure you trim back your allpoos enough so that the lid on your garbage can closes completely

My understanding is the BAMF hangars provide no lift at all. It should not make any change in that dept.

Drilling the rivets out is simple. Dont over think it. Grind smooth, 1/4” bit, 1/2” bit. Doesn’t take much effort

i'm about to start drilling the top two. got the bottom two out in about 30 minutes using these three tools:

edit: i put the top plate from the press over the rivet (not shown)

grind all rivets down = 15 min
push bottom two out = 15 minutes
drill top two out = 1hr

used 60 grit flap and put a grade 8 bolt in the ball joint press on the rivet to push. think it was a 3/8".

2nd edit: took almost an hour to drill out top two rivets. busted two bits and dulled another one. i definitely prefer the press method.

used these tools to get the tops:

edit: got this sorted. just needed the bfh.

putting things together and ran into a problem. the BAMF shackle is a few mm thinner than OEM. is there a trick prying it on the leaf pack?

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
you can put a bolt through through the shackle and apply two nuts internally opposite directions to spread the tabs if need be.
