Needed more practice or what?

 

Even managed to get my speed signal hooked up to the radio. Now I can wait for a used car with nav to come in and get the Nav module working properly too

Painted the dash with black interior paint

 

I was going to buy some black velour and re upholster my headliner in the IS. I dunno why that car has a black everything but a tan headliner and pillar covers

 

It’s literally just for heat dissipation.
My only issue is going to be finding black seat belt hardware. I may just cut my belts and paint the pieces and have someone replace the belt with black too

 

My belt are black thankfully.

 

What did you do for the steering wheel/airbag?

I feel like paint wouldnt be a good solution on the wheel.

 

I thought he found a black leather wheel, Toyota wheels are pretty plug n play on later models, even the minivans used the same design

 

i have a black leather wheel from a 4runner and im just trying to locate a black airbag now.

 

If not, you could just not bathe or do laundry for months. Smoking weed and cigarettes will help too. Seems to work fine at turning seatbelts black in cars I see at the junkyards.

 

i tried really hard to find a 2nd gen tundra leather wheel.. but alas. they're expensive.
I also looked into a brand new 4runner wheel. but the style of that wheel would look really out of place in this interior.. eventually i'll find a 2nd gen wheel. but till then the 4runner wheel was 50 bucks

once the interior is done i need to get the horns all setup and get the caps third brake light non-invasivly installed

 

Have fun with the horns. If I remember right I used some huge gauge wire and got carried away with the tape/conduit/zipties haha.

 

im running a 30 amp (8 gauge im thinking) to a eaton box, triggered by the factory horns and i'll be keeping the factory horns for maximum assholeness. finding a spot to put them is proving difficult. less room up front of the rad in a tundra than a 1st gen taco..

 

Too bad its popped. Otherwise Id grab the airbag cover for you since its the only part of the airbag that junkyard will sell.

 

yea ive had no luck finding one. i have a grey airbag, this tan one, and a partial tan one.. no black lol

Does the cover even come off the airbag on these? Like I said thats all I could grab for you cause none of my local yards sell airbags, and even if they did shipping it would be a pain.
