    I don't know about the Champion radiator, seems a lot of people @1997tacomav6 included have had big issues with it cracking and leaking. I know he replaced his with a custom radiator

    That’s because the Champion radiator specifically says do not use red radiator coolant, it will cause leaking. Use the green stuff and put rubber bushings in...no worries

    The bushings make a lot of sense. Isolate vibrations etc from the radiator.

    But, here is a big but...if they can’t engineer their radiator to perform with Toyota specked coolant I’m not sure I want that on my truck.

    However, I’m am willing to continue to follow the champion thread and see if there is a pattern of radiators not leaking.
    Otherwise I go to remote places (often solo) far to often to risk it.
    I would be more than stranded on the side of the road.

    Ron Davis Radiator in Phoenix will build a really nice custom aluminum 2 core 1" tubes for around $750

    I’m planning on putting leather in mine $2000

    I’ve had my truck for 15 years, It has sentimental value.

    The wonderful thing about these trucks is that if you take good care of them they’ll last a really really long time, like 1,000,000 miles..no joke

    I know one thing and that is my custom radiator will NEVER have to be replaced and will NEVER fail on me and will keep my temperatures at 168-175 regardless out how hot it is outside
    You get what you pay for and there are lots of options for All of us.
    Has nothing to do with the age of the truck.
    Because it’s 20 years old means nothing, but means the truck was paid off for 16 years ago
    and zero payments which means I have extra money for it instead of a monthly payment of 500 plus insurance a month depending.
    That monthly payment sounds ridiculous to me :)

    What are your opinions on pulley options for our superchargers?

    I came across the 1320 pulley on Amazon, which looks very similar to the URD ones and are cheaper, they just don't have the biting edge cut into the walls.

    I've also been looking into the pulley bros steel pulleys because my URD pulley didn't last that long and I would assume the steel pulleys would last longer.

    I'm planning on getting a 2.1 pulley, as well as another 2.2 to replace my worn out URD one. For pulleys this small are the biting edges that URD has necessary to eliminate belt slip?

    You really need fuel mods before you get a smaller pulley. Do you have fuel mods?

    URD pulleys don’t have the HARDEN finish so they wear out fast.
    Pulley boys DO have the harden finish coating and will last much longer.
    Start with a 1 nozzel and watch your AFR to see if you need more and when to start spraying

    2 steps closer yesterday. Welded in my 02 bung and AEM is wired in but bypassed. Still have to mount box. Next step is pillar pod with PSB-1 gauge and methanol controller.:taco::woot:

    I just finished up my shift kit and it paired up great with the SC. You’ll love it.

    I’m surprised you had issues getting gaskets, I got two (1st one showed up torn) in a matter of a few days.
