Hi! I recently bought a 2003 double cab and it’s going to need some work. I was finally able to get a license plate but now I need it inspected. Any recs on a good mechanic near Media, Pa or anywhere in DELCO?
Also, will 265/70/17 wheels and tires from a FJ cruiser fit? I was eyeing some on Craigslist.

No plans to go the Georgia Some women I am avoiding still might live there.

Did you not practice your parallel parking or they were scared of you taking out all the vehicles involved??

There were cones, no vehicles; I took the test in my Tacoma, and I ended up parking on an angle with the tires outside the line...

Back then I didn't have a backup camera, but my neighbor helped me put one in more than five years I got my license; They don't let you use backup cameras, and I believe they tape a piece of paper over the screen if the vehicle you're testing in has one...

I have taught two friends how to parallel park in my truck (one at the same DMV course where I took my test) in preparation for getting their license, and I always demonstrate one parking job with the camera on and one with it off; Funny thing is that now I can parallel park like a boss with the backup camera off! My best friend Mike, who is also on the spectrum like me, took most of his driving lessons in the shitty 2009 Chevy Cobalt that his mom handed down to him. My theory was that if he could parallel park in my Tacoma without hitting the cones, parking that little Chevy would be a breeze! Go figure, I took him to the course the night before his driving test, made him parallel park my Tacoma with the backup camera deactivated until he could do so without hitting the cones, and he passed the test in the Cobalt the next day...

Pennsylvania is probably one of the easiest states in which to obtain a driver's license, at least in my opinion, and one thing I love is that they let you take test in anything with valid insurance, registration, and inspection...

When I finally got my learner's permit in August 2009 (for the second time; I let the first one, which I got in December 2005, lapse), my dad started me out in his 1996 Nissan Pathfinder. The Pathy was originally supposed to be my first vehicle, but by the time I finally got on the road to getting my license, it was really showing its age. I just wanted a head unit with an AUX input in the Pathy so I could play my iPod, but my dad told me he would buy me a whole new truck if I continued doing good in college...

So, the Pathy was traded for the Taco in September 2009; I drove my mom's 2004 Honda Odyssey often, but since the Tacoma was to be my vehicle that's the one I drove the most and got comfortable with...
