I think we've established that it's like, one step above a normal cold. It's like a cold on hard mode. Ah well.

I think I'm going to hold off on today. If anything maybe some ETF/boring stuff.

I have had pneumonia, I thought I was going to die, it got that bad. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

I had pneumonia in summertime once, back in my 20's. Put me out of work for almost three weeks. It was bacterial and so antibiotics worked. Still completely kicked my azz.

Thirty years later, I don't want to repeat that. I also have seen a resurgence of my childhood mild (mostly exercise-induced) asthma.

I'm not taking chances with this sht. Fortunately my work is easily done remote and I'm an introvert by nature.

I have complete respect for anyone who doesn't want to chance it. That's understandable. I guess my biggest disagreement is how they're quarantining the healthy and/or those who would like to risk it.

Georgia just let the general shelter-in-place expire, yet extended it for certain categories of people. Way I see it, the extension provides cover for those people to choose to continue to isolate without repercussions from employers. Likely also means their employer can reopen yet the people can continue to receive unemployment.

Many businesses allowed to reopen, though with a bunch of pretty strict distancing, sanitation, and mask-wearing requirements.

I see Costco will require customers to wear masks else not allowed in the store. Won't be surprised to see others do the same.

Welp. I'm out from Amex - I don't have a qualifying card (f$%^ annual fees, not going to pay them :p)

Annnnd looks like I'm not in for Chase either - I only have the Chase Freedom, again, no fees :D

    Oh well. Thanks anyways!

I bought a few shares of GIS today. It pains me to buy something near its all-time high, but at the same time, I am up 34% on that stock just randomly adding to it for the last 2 years. Plus it pays a good dividend, and people will always eat cereal.

I'm not paying annual fees either. Don't have either or those cards as well.

My Chase Freedom has no fees, and this quarter has 5% cash back for grocery stores.

I've been flying DAL just enough that the free-checked-bag & higher-priority boarding perks of the Delta Amex Gold have been worth the fee. It's the only card I possess that has a fee, and I may ditch it this next time around unless it looks like I'll be travelling more than it currently seems like.
