I'm in the Los Angeles area. I had a few chances during the early stages of the pandemic. I thought waiting would be an advantage. So much for that

Nah brah, incentives are at there most aggressive, limited inventory with factorys shuttered, dealers in panic about future making crazy loss type deals and you're after one of the most desired colors / configs. In all seriousness though, hope you find one in your desired time frame.

For sure! The dealers know it too. They won't budge on their discount.

Yeah, Socal is not working out as well as the rest of the country on price. I got an MGM TRD OR DCSB was $38,261 on $42,003 MSRP. Without the rebate for 0% Finance.

Dude thats still a good deal and sounds like a great deal for CA/Socal, almost 10% w/out the rebate, nothing to snuff at. Congrats!

Hey guys! Longtime lurker. Wanting to join the Taco family but the dealer is trying to give me the run around. I have found a Cement DCSB Sport 4x4 with an MSRP of $39,056 at my local dealer. I asked the sales guy over text what kinda sale price we looking at and he called me and told me his manager said they would only sale it at MSRP( with 84 month/0% that the dealership is doing this week for first responder) since there are some dealer add ons that they don’t account for in the price listed. Should I bother trying to haggle some more or tell them to pack sand? Was wanting it down to at least $37000 before TTL with the finance deal.

Go to your credit union and get financing for the truck. They will give you a competitive rate and tell you straight up what your credit looks like and what you should get. Then the finance manager can try to beat that deal or you just use your credit union.

Never go into a negotiation without knowing as much as the other guy. This is why you always get multiple quotes when you need your roof repaired or your septic tank dug up.

I almost got a Cement one but the first time I saw the Quicksand ones years ago I had to get one at some point in my life so that's what I did lol. Cement I def. would've gone for though if there were no Quicksands anywhere. Cement is a very close second to me maybe even tied.

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
Current promos expire in 4 days. Target has been acquired. (2 choices locally) Not sure whether to move, or wait and see what's next?

I'm in same situation, but I've decided i'm going to wait. The 3 dealers I have been talking to still haven't sold the trucks i'm looking at

    New here....
Just bought my truck this past Monday.
    $37500
2020 TRD Sport 4x4 crew cab short bed. Not maxed out on options but well equipped. From the dealer, I got a fair price for my trade, 5 years / 60,000 miles free maintenance, a lifetime power train warranty (At the purchasing dealer only, not transferable), and 0% financing for 60 mos.
Guess I can live with that.

Was that $37500 OTD or before TTL?

I don’t know if you saw my post a couple before yours but I am dealing with a dealer on a truck just like yours but he doesn’t want to come of MSRP because of “dealer add ons”

Too many white Tacos around, and I originally looked at a white one as it was a little less expensive (different options), I also looked at a number of options and got it down to a Cement or Sandstorm model. Although I liked the Sandstorm more initially, after pondering on it for a while, I didn't feel that the color would wear as well over time and went with the cement. No regrets, but I don't know if I would have been any less happy with the truck overall in Sandstorm or white either.
