Did this yesterday to the newest silver sky Taco.

Toytec Aluma 2.0 and full Denver spring pack out back. Wheels are 17”x8.5” 0 offset. Had to move front fender well liner inward and trim painted edge of bumper. Easy to do with factory clip.

@suaveflooder yeah that should look pretty sweet. I still have a lot of life left on my tires so ill probably do it ahead of time. gonna try out the color on my steel spare to check it out first.

Four years, 75K miles and today was actually the first day I’ve hauled something heavier than a few bikes and camping gear, or some bags of concrete from Home Depot. Full tank of gas, me, and 1020 lbs of 3/4” gravel dropped it right down, but not quite touching the rear bump stops (stock TRD OR suspension). I definitely noticed the weight, but nothing dramatic. Tomorrow, about a ton of mulch and landscape bark (two trips for that). By the way, even in expensive California, the gravel cost just $30. Great value! A13BC59E-19CB-4A90-BCB5-67CFCFAE11B4.jpg And the yard guy switched to a small bucket on his loader so he could drop the gravel into my short bed without a single piece falling on the paint. Next time I’ll ask the guy what the empty weight was (they sell by the ton, not the yard).

Ugh me too!! I’m looking at probably another year or so because I drive almost all freeway and these tires still have a lot of life.

    Post pics when you do!

Will do man. just a matter of getting some other projects done first. I need to get some stuff finished up around the house and in the garage before I go buying more stuff just for it to sit around.

The Tacoma already is a compact truck. I haul bikes, camping gear. Dogs and kayaks, even a wife, occasionally.. for the amount of monies you spend , ya gotta get the LB

Love the direction you're going with these heritage color touches.

I have so many ideas in my head for when I get my truck! The key, for me anyway, is to refrain from going overboard now :D

I totally agree man. the heritage colors can look so good but a little goes a long way. I have one or 2 more things ill use the heritage colors on and then probably hold back from there.
