2003 Tacoma engine size verification

    I've owned my 2003 since new. I am pretty sure this is the larger of the 2, 4 cylinders. Sticker under the hood says 2.7L. I'm guessing this is correct, just want to verify before I order parts.

    Just put the vin number in Toyota website, it will give you all your vehicles details. I am sure others will be along that can tell you another way and likely better but that is at least one :)

    If you have the 6-lugger it's the 2.7. Far as I know they never put the 2.4 in anything but the small 5-luggers.

    The 2.4L disappeared from the lineup for the 2nd Gen and all 2005-newer Tacomas had the 2.7L as the standard engine; Only 5-lug 1st Gens had the 2.4L :)
