Between anthracite mud when we're out wheeling and a winter slurry of salt and coal ash on the roads: if it can be corroded or messed up we'll figure it out on the east coast.

I'm pretty sure that 4 years later I'm still cleaning VA and WVA clay out of my truck...

Try some AL clay sheesh I thought NC, TN, and VA was bad until we went wheeling down there. AOAA anthrocite is some nasty stuff too how much it fits into things eats it up

I got a better chance to look at that set up in the pic. Very intriguing. Kinda reminds me of the giant 4link/trailing arm links BK and TMR made with that seal. Even though in the plane that your setting yours up it won't see any flex really. Seems like a really good solution to help keep the uniballs alive that much longer and a cheap part to fix when need be.

I'd imagine the desert is pretty brutal on heims and stuff too when the wind kicks up and getting sand ground into everything.

I'm interested in the steering set up with a ram. Once you get that sorted out I'd like to see it and would jump on that as well for the group buy.

I can't leave anything well enough alone
I wonder if there is some way to set it up for ram ahead of time, so if the upgrade was developed / purchased later, it could be retrofitted easily. I have no idea if that is possible, but would be nice if it had the right tabs/mounts/reinforcement to be able to add the 'ram kit' later without re-doing or re-purchasing anything.

Doesn't look too complicated to add later.

If we have TC gusseted spindles already can we just get the double shear gussets? Why so many washers bolting the LBJ piece to the spindle?

Yes you can get the double shear only. Washers were from playing around with different lower uniball heights when we were building the lower arms

Am this thread gets better every day..
you should consider revamping the first page with all the prices/pics/etc. It would help those that haven’t followed the build.

does the wheel speed sensor still fit in back there? I'm sure you've thought of that, but looks to be tight. Also, is this what will come with the tie rods and the steering kit? Or do you have other options also in the works?
