Yes if you’re not hard on the throttle that is, other wise it’s howling tires.

 

I keep considering them, just for price point vs a traditional push button setup. But since I daily the truck, it just seems like it's not the best option for me.

 

I drive my truck daily as well. It’s really not much worse than a traditional limited slip diff for drive ability other than the clicking noise it makes. Plus it’s super simple to diagnose if something goes wrong unlike Elockers or air lockers.

 

You know how to spend a guys money haha. Did you do just rear or front too?

 

Just the rear locker. I had this style locker in the front of an Isuzu trooper and it lead to broken cv’s.(could have been my driving) My main goal for my truck is ease of operation and maintenance, so this just seemed like a good compromise.

I did it. I’ve do a few times in the past. It’s really not the black magic crazy hard shit most folks think it is. Go slow, check and re check and don’t be afraid to tear it apart and start back a zero if you don’t get the right results. I had to redo clamshell carrier shims 4x before it was right.

Nice work. I got 30 minutes of Hiit in before dumb online meetings this morning then 2 hours of scrape weeds of gravel strip this evening. Shoulders are already feeling that.

 

Drove around for about 45 minutes this afternoon. Filled the tank(holy shit gas is cheap right now) and reset the trip meter. Sure would be nice to get 16mpg or more.

This one hooks to standard size propane bottle. This one takes the little bottles.
They are the best tool for getting weeds out of gravel. We also use big ones for preheating thick steel plate prior to welding.

 

Crazy never even heard of those before, I need to come out of my hole more often.

 

I first learned of them when I started as a wildland firefighter.

 

Will installing a filter on the SAIP prolong its life?

I already replaced mine (Toyota paid) on mine on 3/31/2020 and wonder if I can do to prolong the life of the pump and air switching valves ...and not get stuck a ways from home doing 30 mph in limp mode.
