Stampede is open? For day use only or were there people camping?

Campgrounds are closed. We took the boat out to chase some fish...there were only two other spots for vehicles with trailers in the lower two lots by the launch.

There were at least half a dozen RVs parked in the overflow trailer lot and several tents set up around the lake.

Gotcha. I didn't realize it was even open for fishing. Love trolling for those little Kokanee they are unbelievable on the smoker.

Hey how was that Elk by the way?

About to pull the trigger on a Fox 2.5 front/2.0 rear setup, and was thinking of doing the work myself. Anyone here interested/willing to give advice/assist? I know this corona is going to hinder the level of willingness, but even some guidance/advice or what to expect would be helpful via a PM or phone call . I guess I dont need to look locally for that kind of help but figured id start here. Maybe thought some of you are going stir crazy and itching to get under a truck?? Anyways, hope everyone staying healthy.

PS - mask/gloves can be provided as well as a donation to you favorite local beer fund!!

@BigLilTaco, you move yet? I'm happy to help with the install depending on timing. Looks like I'll have at least two weeks before I head down to San Diego for my next surgery...I'll be out of commission for 3 or 4 months after I get home.

Hey there! I'm starting the move tomorrow morning. After i get settled in i will be doing extensive research on what else i will be needing for the install. I'm not in a huge rush to get anything done so i can shop around to save some dough for what else i may need.

Shoot, i wish you luck with the surgery and hopefully "out of commission" means you can still pull up a lawn chair and have a beer.

Ill let you know when i pull the trigger and get a better idea of things.

I appreciate the offer and same goes to you during your recovery.

It's interesting. My routine has been unaffected and some breweries are doing fills, but I heard a couple stopped and also don't do refills anymore. On the bright side, I've been spending less money

Anyone have any tips getting 4th gen front axles in? Have a buddy struggling to get the driver side in, has tried all the forum tricks. Damonte ranch area, said he would be willing to throw 50$ if someone can help him get it seated in the differential. Can provide his number is someone has a minute, I've never done front axles on tacoma/4runners so I am at a loss as well.

My buddy down in SD just went through this on his wife's 4th Gen, all he needed was a second set of hands and it went right in.

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
I was out shooting on Saturday. A lot of people, but folks were being safe and courteous.

I took yesterday off and wandered up to Crystal Peak in the AM. I left around 1300 and there were TONS of people (cars, bikes, ATVs, on foot). Mix of CA and NV plates. Only problem was a few d-bag mountain bikers with more $ than brains.

I have had a couple instances on that first incline out of verdi where the mountain bikers like to ride in the middle of the road for a couple minutes while I'm in my truck behind them, It must be a control thing, I think they like to "allow" people to pass them when they deem appropriate.

    "Share the Road" ugh.

I was going downhill at one of the narrower stretches on that first climb, hugging the right side of the road. Dipshits came UP the right side. Left it in 1st and kept rolling. Carbon fiber bike vs 4000lb truck with a winch bumper - don't need to do much math to figure that one out.

Dog Valley was a zoo yesterday. Going up to the crystal mine was easy, since I made the oldest get up early. Coming down was another story.
