I'd be surprised if you can find a spot without being right on top of someone else if that's the case.
Bet everyone and there brother will be up there with the weather being so nice.

Mines been great but it's toasting coil packs faster than campfire marshmallows.

Hope you get it figured out. Mine hasn’t been giving trouble just been getting it ready for 35s and waiting on parts. @PlumpPossum watched me mutilate my antenna post today I couldn’t get the damn nut off the top so I ended up taking a grinder to it. That worked out great.

Any recent reports on the open section? I think I’ll be in the area Saturday and haven’t run this road yet.

It’s gravel and I think the dates are in the OP. Up that way a few weeks ago with a Chrysler 300 no damage!

Thanks, we’ll have to check it out. Here is the most recent from DNR:
    • All secondary roads on Jocassee Gorges were closed May 11 in accordance with the normal road management schedule. Secondary roads will reopen September 15. Horsepasture Road from Highway 178 to Jumping Off Rock (10 miles) and Camp Adger Road from Highway 178 to the Gravely Memorial (3 miles) will remain open year round

was up here this weekend (8/15) and there was a decent amount of traffic. I'm planning on camping up here soon but assume its quite busy. Anyone know how it is during the week? probably a wednesday or thursday night to try to avoid weekend traffic
