What are you paying for 2020 Tacomas?

Depends when factories reopen, right now its still in flex, Toyota just announced its pushing back plant reopening again from their May 4th date. I'm sure dealer's see their allocations, but whether they are built, in transit, etc. is a big "if" I'm betting.

 

Like Taco Buffet has mentioned, my buddy said they're looking to have their allocations filled first. He did mentioned some of those allocations will be evaluated and maybe cancelled as well. For example, he said they have two TRD Pro's slated to be built but they have one of the lot that hasn't gotten a lot of interest, especially since none of the incentives apply to the Pro.

 

If anything too many double door tacoma's around for that matter. Its overwhelming here to see silver or gray versions of tacos.

 

Hi all, newby here - first post. Have been lurking for months. Just picked this up day before yesterday.

2020 SR, 4WD, V6, Double Cab, Short Bed, Barcelona Red.

Price before trade and fees - $29,200. Bottom line figure was $19,600 after trade and including tax (Maine 5.5%), title, and doc fee. I still have to register within 14 days in Maine which charges an “annual excise tax”. But that deadline has been extended for at least 60 days or so due to Covid19. Trade was a 2014 Taco, I-4, 2WD, Access Cab. They gave me $11,000 towards the purchase which is about as much as I could expect to get with a private sale in my neighborhood.

 

Can anyone get a loan through Navy Federal or USAA? Best rates I’ve seen is PenFed which is 2.99. I don’t really understand why the new auto loan rates aren’t lower than that considering the rest of the interest rates in the country. The rates were better four years ago when I bought 2016.

 

You have to be a member which requires you to be a veteran. I also think you can join if you are an immediate family member of a veteran but I don’t know the details. However, neither of them will be offering 0% interest.

 

I think banks are keeping rates a little high to hedge the risk of the borrower being laid off/unemployed in this economy and now their stuck with a depreciating liability. Where as I just re-fi'd my house a week ago, and my house is worth 2x more than the loan so I'm sure the bank would like me to default

Just left a dealer.
The price went up from the price they quoted me a week ago!
Their excuse was their low inventory, and they're not expecting to get more vehicles till August.
The discount I would be getting 11% off MSRP
So I walked.

 

You may not realize this but if a bank reposesses a house in GA where I live and sells it for more than is owed they have to return the extra to you, but they do have ways of buying the house at what is owed and reselling afterwords.

 

Looking to purchase my first truck tomorrow, 2020 DCSB SR 4x2 I4 in silver metallic. Trying to get it down to $24K, does that sound reasonable? I have 2 dealers working against each other, not many of these trucks in central Ohio.

I'm sure my back payments and "penalties" will add up to the sale amount of the house

 

Thanks TacoBuffet I honestly don't plan on selling or trading until it hits 200,000. or unless they come out with a new turbo option at some point. Now to find some of my favorite Forest roads this weekend.

I picked up my 2020 SW TRD OR DCSB 4x4 with the adv. tech package, premium package, and LED headlights yesterday. I got a decent amount for my trade, so I think it worked out. These numbers are without the big rebate, but I got the military rebate and 0% financing.
