I was changing my carrier bearing and it seems I have lost 1 needle bearing and I cant find it.
I need to use the truck soon, but it appears the 1330 is not in stock at any local stores, plus with the corona shipping would take way too long.

Does anyone know of an alternate u joint or one that has the same needle bearings as the spicer 1330?

You mean the U-joint next to carrier bearing?

    yes
Just ran to autozone and they had a moog 270.
didnt install the whole thing, just the bearing caps. Bad I know, got a nasty vibration above 50 now. That or i messed up putting the driveshaft back in perfectly as it was.

If you get nasty vibration. Most likely you mess up on your U-joint installation. Highly recommend you to remove and install again. Make sure needles bearing is against cap wall. Here shouldn't be any gap between the needles bearing.

Pulled it back off to find one needle bearing missing... I have an order in for the spicer joints. They seem to keep the needles in place better than moog. I am only working with a c clamp and hammer, would adding more grease to the caps held the needles stay in place during installation?

Yes, but you want to use a grease compatible with what's already in there. If you can't find out that info, stick with lithium complex or polyurea as they are compatible with a wide variety of different base types.

I don't know that a missing needle bearing will throw off the balance that much. Make sure all the u-joints rotate freely, none should bind; if it does, that will throw off the balance.

Do you know if changing the orientation of the center yoke (the one without the nut that has the rubber boot on it) 180 degrees would make a vibration occur? The the 2 sections of the driveshaft are bolted to each flange as they were, but the center yoke fell off a couple times and all I could do is align the bearing caps once reassembled.

@erasedhammer No sir. I don't think the parts are balanced together; however, if the yoke got dented during the drop could throw it off balanced.
