Remember, OP says he’s on stock UCAs at 2” so no fucking way will his alignment come even close. He won’t even make it out of the parking lot without rubbing cab mount lol.

    Guaranteed

I have that exact setup on my 2017 Sport. I initially had a spacer lift and it rubbed on the mud flaps, after I switched to the 887/5100 setup it then rubbed on the front corner of the flare on the inside front corners. I used my Dremel and trimmed it away and it's fine now. I'm running 285/70/17's though, so not sure if the 285/75/16 will be a bigger diameter. I'm not totally happy with the alignment and I'm taking it to a different shop next in two weeks, so we will see if anything changes. Trying to avoid swapping out UCA's if I can. No cab mount cutting though on mine.

huh? CMC = cab mount chop. Do you have one or not? You keep adding info in your OP didn’t mention lol.

I believe I even said after you CMC it won’t be an issue (as much). The above post you quoted was based on not knowing you already had a CMC.

Take it off-road - you’ll feel the rub. If you’re just a mall crawler then who cares just enjoy it!

I have the tiniest rub on my passenger side fender flare, like literally just touches i . I think i plan to trim this little piece off, wont be able to see it unless laying under it, and i dont think it will affect the fender flare stability. Ucas coming this summer. 20200501_183340.jpg

Ready to get mind blown? Stock suspension and wheels rubs if you push it hard enough. It rubs above tire (12 o’clock). A lift solves this. But it you rub at the 3 and 9 o’clock, how does lift change that? It doesn’t. I ran 285’s on 16” ray10’s and it barely rubbed cab mount. This was stock TRD suspension. I trimmed the fender wells a little in the rear as well. When I went off-roading it rubbed the crap out of the top of the fenderwell. Especially when shock faded. I think 33’s is ok on 4.3 MT gears on mine. I rode in an AT and the tranny soaked up the loss decent enough. Just hunted on freeway.

Yeah, I know. I have a 4runner on 2” lift, 285s, -10 offset wheels, stock UCAs and kickass alignment. No CMC. No rubbing on cab mount. None. Ever so slightly rub on front fender liner (even after front liner mod).

oh and still has the mud flaps on!

Mind unblown. And I'm also not factory suspension, I'm 2 in lift. I don't offroad that hard either, more lile fs roads, beaches, etc, i hate crawling.

You can’t get a “kickass” alignment with stock UCAs and 2” of lift lol. If it was that easy no one would buy UCAs, I know I wouldn’t. But if you’re happy enough, all good!

I know nothing about 4runners, but IF they’re the same as Tacoma’s in regards to wheel well size, dimensions, cab mount location, etc - then you simply don’t off-road, or flex your suspension much at all. Which is cool, but there’s a fine line between static ride height clearance and actually cycling the suspension.

The proof is in the fact that the OP and I have the SAME wheel (Ray10 16x8 -12) and 285s. I don’t rub at ride height either as I’ve cut enough out, but when I off-road and cycle the suspension I definitely still do, and so will he the one off time he takes a turn

That’s why shit “it doesn’t rub” back and forth shit needs to stop. It WILL rub if you don’t CMC/trim/cut if you cycle the suspension fully. If you go on flat fireroads with no bumps and never cycle the suspension (static ride height) sure, you won’t rub very often.

the context of “off-roading” Lol matters apparently

How's the noise increase with MTs vs ATs?

The falkens are a pretty quiet AT so I assume the difference is quite noticeable.
