Haven't seen anyone post about this yet but sorry if it's redundant. These are pretty new and at a really solid introduction price point ($99). I like the mounting system a lot and thinking about pulling the trigger on these. Would you guys think they'd be better than the Amazon ones? no weight ratings yet but curious to see if anyone else is looking at these. If I get them I'll post a review on em

I saw something about these a few days ago and was curious, but figured they’d be just as expensive as maxtrax and didn’t look them up. Waiting to see what others have to say as well, and I’m surprised by that price.

I just picked up a set of these this morning. I don't have anything to compare it to but should be able to tell if they how sturdy they are once they show up.

The only thing that concerns me is that these weigh 11.5lbs for the set. Maxtrax weigh 8lbs each.

Super interested in this. I've been looking at recovery boards and been on the fence of ActionTrax or MaxxTrax.

Interested in these as well. I don’t need to bridge gaps or anything. Just use em in the snow

I think any cheap traction boards are better than none. I bought the cheapest set I could find on Amazon thinking I’d never use them. A few months ago I got stuck in snow. I was feeling cocky with my front and rear diff locks. That only dug me in deeper. I just had to clear enough snow to wedge the boards in against the rear tires and I was out. Even though my treads were packed with snow, they instantly grabbed the boards and didn’t spin at all. I consider traction boards essential now.

My local shop is an action trax dealer so I ended up getting a set from them to support those guys. feel like the rototrax are just too risky with no testing out there yet

I heard from a guy in my local OR group that he saw them and wasn't impressed with the quality. I know its second hand but figured I'd share

Interested in how they measure up to similar-priced Amazon/Ebay specials like XBULL.

    I came across this today.

IMO based on their results and the prices, you could replace the cheap ones about 3 times for the price of the MAXTRAX. Depends on your tolerance for having to re-purchase cheap ones and how often you use them. MAXTRAX came out as clearly more durable than the brands they tested. Also ask, will you abuse the ever living piss out of your traction boards?

I have yet to find a RotoTrax review
