I had no issue getting them on my dakars. Is it just one shackle or both that's giving you trouble?

both BAMF shackles are the same width - a few mm shorter than stock.

I'm a little fucked, trying to get the last pin in on drivers side, I'm off by about 3mm.

Tried everything, taken everything including the leaf pack, tried c clamps, jacks, different pins, won't line up. Stock leafs they lined up perfect before.

    Don't know what to do.

Take the hanger off, install the shackle and leaf to the hanger, then bolt the hanger to the frame.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

How far did you have to pry that shackle open to fit the leaf pack? the shackle tabs look pretty jacked.

Also take the load off the axle don't let it hang like that you wont have to fight the spring if there is no load.

haha, we're in the same boat. i spent the last two days cleaning up my leaf packs, adding a leaf, and installing shackles and hangers. passenger side went back together without issue but i can't get the driver's front eye to line up. i may need to take the passenger tire off or loosen the u bolts. can't figure it out.

i didn't drink quite that much beer but i'm kinda sore.

yeah, nothing bolted on the drivers side. need to get the front eye first like you said.

edit: got her bolted up! just needed to loosen bolts on the passenger side to give the axle enough play so the drivers side eye could slide into place. piece of cake.

Just drove around on road and the rear end is less bouncy, which is what i wanted since I'm on the pavement most of the time. I'm sure off road is even better. I'm on 5100's with stock front coils and rear springs.
