Got mine installed today and it was pretty easy. I didn't want to damage the trim ring, or the area around it, so I took some time with a couple tiny picks and screw drivers to pop it out. I did end up using some pliers to grip the provided tool, as it gave me a little more leverage to hold onto it.

That’s large. IMO it looks the best.

 

I think the larger looks the best also. Once you see it next to all of the other buttons on the dash, it doesn't look out of place or anything.

such an easy upgrade and so worth it. 5 minutes for a lifetime of better looking button. Probably at least increased my trucks value $2000

Yeah I did. It came off way easy with the included tool.

 

Good to know. I couldn't remember how well the Meso surround is clipped in.

Drove my truck this evening to pick up some pizza after I installed the new button. Gotta say, felt like it added at least 50 hp and 5 mpg

 

Any tips for getting this turd off? I’ve been yanking on this thing for 30 minutes and have damn near destroyed the included tool.
