This is a strong IPA for sure. I have a solid buzz already, just from this one tallboy. Nice hoppy flavor and aroma, with a good amount of citrus and bitterness to even it all out. This would be a great "drink to get trashed" beer for sure.

If any of you have had the pleasure to try Beaver Nuggets from Buc-ee's, you'll like this one because it tastes just like'em! Just sweet enough, and tons of mapley deliciousness

Sounds like a good brew day! I hate foam overs during boil.

As far a fermentation goes give it at least 48 hours before worrying about bubbles in an airlock. Brewing beer is all about patients.

You can alway check gravity but I still recommend at least 48 hours.

“relax, don’t worry and have a Homebrew” to quote Papazian.

Sound good to me, thank you

Edit, 12 hours after putting it away, it’s bubbling this morning so, we have fermentation!

I stopped and grabbed some fresh coffee for the spro machine and then rode down to CDM and then home. Needed to put a few extra miles on.

My Carolina Lager after less than a week in the bottle. My ever impatient and slightly buzzed self threw one in the fridge to try. I did make an effort to pour it before chill haze set in. It’s got a bit of creamed corn going with it. This is definitely my first time dealing with DMS. Hopefully it will subside. Other than that, this will be a damn fine crispy boi after it’s fully carbed and sits in the fridge for a couple weeks.

It tastes like pine and resin and is very bitter. A true west coast ipa. If you like that then you’ll like it. It’s pretty easy to find in California, outside is more difficult
