Finally installed my tailgate lock kit from @KTJO 4x4. Only had it for almost a year. Took about an hour to install. And works awesome. Can believe this is the first time in a year that I had time. Lol.

I got pop n lock for my Tacoma and my friend installed it for me and he likes it... He installed it for me because I didn't have the tools that time. He went ahead and bought one for his truck next day... LOL.

Someday, I plan to take my truck to the shop and have them to install lock in the topper so I can unlock/lock the topper with my FOB. Right now, it has manual lock with key.

I made a thread for it so there is better record than a post in a 8000 page thread. Hopefully someone knows where that plug is so I dont have to screw around too much in there.

Not really Tacoma related, but the spring on my wife's garage door busted this week so I replaced the spring, rollers, and bearings today. Kinda needed to make the wife happy before I can feel good about working on more Tacoma mods

Got the parts from 365 Garage Door Parts. They had some really good information on their site and parts shipped really fast. Rolling super smooth and quiet now. Might just need to get new bearings and rollers for the other 2 doors now.

I'd post photos but it looks like a garage door o_O The new nylon rollers are far more quiet than the old steel rollers but it pretty much looks like it did before I started.

So I scraped my fence backing out today, what is the best/least expensive way to minimize this damage? I Googled it and found lots of fix your bumper You Tube videos but none really pertaining to these type of fender skirts/flares. Any ideas, experience?

Bed liner on all four fender flares and you'll never know it happened.
